After arriving in Manado, N. Sulawesi on January 25, we will transported to Kasawari-Lembeh Resort,  a brand new (October, 2006) resort on the Lembeh Strait where we will be spending 5 nights and doing 4 days of diving, with up to 3 dives per day (plus one check-out dive for a total of 13).  The accommodations are luxurious and the staff is extremely service oriented.  All gear is cleaned after every set of dives by the staff, cameras are cared for and placed on the boat prior to the next dive.  You'll absolutely want to bring your camera if you have one (and if you don't you'll want to consider getting one!) because the opportunities to photograph crazy and unusual critters will be unaparalleled!

MV Odyssea Liveaboard

The second week we'll be diving for a week on the beautiful *brand new* (as of April, 2006) MV Odyssea liveaboard!

Link to MV Odyssea Liveaboard

The crew of the Odyssea has excellent knowledge of the local diving sites and will take us to see all the best and most unusual marine life in the area, including Bunaken National Marine Park, where there are approximately 70 species of coral (more than anywhere else in the world), and a wide array of marine life that makes this the most biodiverse part of the world for diving.  Visibility is generally over 100 feet, and water temperatures range from 80-85!

The diving in North Sulawesi is some of the best diving on the planet.  The area is only served by a few boats at this time and the conditions are pristine!
